Village of Lindenhurst Downtown Master Plan
In 2019 and early 2020, BJH supported Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) in consulting the Village of Lindenhurst (Lindenhurst) on its Downtown Master Plan. BJH undertook an existing conditions analysis that included demographic, labor, business, and real estate data as well as a land use analysis on underutilized properties on Lindenhurst’s main commercial corridor. Participation in community workshops allowed the team to incorporate the feedback of Lindenhurst residents, regarding retail and housing, into recommendations to the Village. BJH created a report that was integrated into the Downtown Master Plan, which will be used to aid in Lindenhurst’s economic growth.
