Central NY Region– New York Forward Round 1
BJH collaborated with Stantec to complete the New York Forward Strategic Investment Plan for the Central NY region, one of New York State’s 10 economic development regions. New York State's NY Forward program aims to transform small and rural downtown areas into vibrant centers of redevelopment, business growth, job creation, and diverse economic and housing opportunities. BJH conducted industry and real estate market analyses for three communities within the Central NY region: Hamilton, Moravia, and Phoenix. Additionally, BJH worked closely with eight project sponsors across the three communities to prepare project profiles and assess the community impact and financial feasibility of their proposals. Projects included the redevelopment of a hospital wing, the expansion of a medical clinic, the construction of a day care center, various new restaurants and event spaces, and public space improvements.
